Rally for #ReleasesNotTransfers October 7th, 2021
On October 7th, 2021 at 6 PM, immigrant rights activists from the North New Jersey Democratic Socialists of America and the Abolish ICE NY/NJ coalition will be rallying outside of the Hudson County Detention Center to demand releases not transfers for those currently detained by ICE. Although contracts with ICE have been canceled across the state, the fight is far from over.

On Election Day, the state of New Jersey overwhelmingly voted “yes” on Public Question 1. This public question sought to legalize the possession and use of marijuana for persons age 21 and older, and legalize the cultivation, processing, and sale of retail marijuana.
